OVERVIEW

Cape Cod is an arm-shaped peninsula located on the Easternmost portion of Massachusetts. It is a well-traveled tourist and vacation area, featuring miles and miles of beaches, natural attractions, historic sites, art galleries and many four star restaurants. The area is also very popular amongst antique enthusiasts and people who enjoy bed and breakfasts. Many opportunities exist here for golf, fishing and other outdoor activities. The town of Provincetown, at the very tip of the peninsula, is the site of the first landing of the Pilgrims.

ITINERARY

DAY ONE
7:30 am Depart from Kingston Shrine Club 3260 Princess St. We make our way to the sandy shores of Cape Cod! Your local guide will meet you at the Holiday Inn Hyannis and will assist with check-in. A Welcome reception will be held in your honour. Dinner with entertainment (1950’s & 60’s) is included this evening at your hotel, complete with birthday cake for dessert.

DAY TWO
Breakfast is included this morning at your hotel. Your local guide will meet you and will conduct a tour of Hyannis viewing the John F. Kennedy memorial. Visit Hyannis Port. In 1928, Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy & Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr. purchased their Hyannis Port summer home, now known as the Kennedy Compound. There will be free time for lunch and shopping on Main Street. Admission is included today to the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum. Welcome aboard a one hour Hyannis Harbor Cruise.
Get to know the local landmarks, popular beaches and other points of interest on your way to view the historic Kennedy Compound. Sail the very waters that the Kennedy family enjoyed countless summer days on. Back on dry land you will stroll through Aselton Park, past the Peace Corps Memorial. Visit the Cape Cod Maritime Museum. Here the Kennedy legacy continues, sharing with the community their love for the sea and the need to preserve and celebrate the Cape’s rich maritime heritage. Dinner is included.

DAY THREE
Breakfast is included this morning at your hotel. You will travel historic Route 6A, the Old King’s Highway, a scenic byway winding through centuries of Cape Cod history. View the Eastham Windmill, a Cape Cod Lighthouse and visit the Cape Cod National Seashore Vistor’s Center. Sand dunes and the ocean surround you as you approach “Land’s End” – Provincetown. Take some time to enjoy the wonderful variety of restaurants, shops, and galleries that make this artists/fishermen village so unique. Admission is included on a Dune Tour excursion. You will ride along the shoreline of the protected lands of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Dinner is included.

DAY FOUR
After breakfast your local guide will meet you at your hotel and you will travel to Boston, the capital of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Begin your day with admission to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. Enjoy free time for lunch on your own at Quincy Market and visit Faneuil Hall where JFK delivered his final speech of his 1960 presidential campaign. After lunch board your coach for a driving tour. Your guide will point out sights along the Freedom Trail as well as the Boston Common and Public Gardens. Rose Kennedy Greenway Park, Old City Hall, Omni Parker House, Old Hotel Bellevue and 122 Bowdoin Street Apartment, Massachusetts State House and the JFK Statue. Dinner is included at Ye Olde Union Oyster House.
