2:00 pm Depart Kingston and Travel to Toronto’s Pearson International Airport for our British Airways direct International Airport for our British Airways direct flight to London, England.
Arrive in London, and we’ll meet our local professional tour manager and private motor coach at the airport, both of which will be with us for the entire duration of our British Isles holiday! We’ll enjoy a panoramic coach tour of the iconic sights of London during which all the major sights of both London’s old city and vibrant West End will be seen. Included is a 2 course lunch followed by an early afternoon check in to our hotel so you can relax and rest before our included dinner tonight.
Breakfast is included at our hotel before we enjoy a full day in London with Changing of the Guard, when
scheduled, admission to Westminster Abbey, famous for so many national events over the centuries, most recently of course as the venue for the wedding of the now Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Join a vessel for a cruise on the River Thames from Westminster to Tower Pier. Visit the Tower of London and see the famous ravens, the Crown Jewels. We’ll enjoy an included lunch within the Tower of London before returning to our hotel.
Optional: West End Theatre production with included pre-theatre dinner and transfers available at an additional cost.
Enjoy an included breakfast in our hotel before we journey north and visit Stratford-Upon-Avon. Highlights are William Shakespeare’s home town, where you have free time and admission to visit Shakespeare’s Brithplace in Henley Street and the family home of his wife Anne Hathaway. Continue to overnight in Chester dinner included in the hotel.

We’ll also have photo stops at Penny Lane, The Cavern Club and Strawberry Fields! We’ll continue on to Chester where you can soak in the atmosphere created by an abundance of black and white buildings set in a circuit of glorious city walls. Within the walls, are the city’s delights like the enchanting Eastgate Clock and the 1000 year old Cathedral, a haven of reflective tranquility in a lively, bustling, cosmopolitan centre. Chester’s crowning glory however are the 13th century Rows – two-tiers of shops running along the main streets. We will overnight and you are free to enjoy the evening, having dinner on your own.
Breakfast again is included in our hotel before we cross North Wales and catch a late morning fast ferry to Dublin. We’ll meet a local guide for panoramic sightseeing tour of the city with admission included to the Guinness Storehouse and a pint of “the black stuff” for those who wish and an opportunity to pour your own pint of course! We’ll overnight in Dublin where you’ll have dinner on your own. Our local guide can suggest places to eat or to enjoy the wilder side of Dublin if you prefer!
After breakfast included in the hotel, with our local guide we’ll visit the 16th century Trinity College to view the medieval manuscript known as The Book of Kells and enjoy a tasting at the included Irish
Whiskey centre before a journey “over the border” to Belfast for an afternoon brief tour with admission to The Titanic Exhibition. We’ll overnight in Belfast and enjoy an included dinner in the hotel.
Before we begin our day, enjoy an included breakfast in the hotel. Tonight we will overnight in Belfast where dinner will be on your own.
Once again, breakfast is included in the hotel before our early start today to reach the nearby docks for the ferry crossing to Scotland. A journey close to the Ayrshire coast brings us to Glasgow – Scotland’s buzzing largest city where we’ll overnight and share an included dinner in the hotel.
Enjoy breakfast included in the hotel before we meet our local guide for the day. Start the day with a tour of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum which for generations of Galswegians has deep and personal significance. Included city tour with time in the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. This afternoons excursion is a cruise on Loch Lomond amidst the wonderful scenery, journey in The Trossachs and of a course a visit with a sample if desired to a Scotch Whisky distillery. Tonight we’ll overnight once again in Glasgow where dinner will be on your own.
After an included breakfast in the hotel, we’ll cross the central belt of Scotland arriving in Stirling for an included visit to the Castle before continuing to Edinburgh to meet a local guide for a panoramic sightseeing tour. This morning we visit the medieval fortress that is Edinburgh Castle, built on an extinct volcano in the centre of Edinburgh. Within the Castle see collections of weapons and armour, visit the Royal apartments and the room where Mary Queen of Scots gave birth to the boy who was to become King James VI of Scotland and King James I of England. Take in the magnificent views across the old and new towns from the battlements and watch the traditional firing of the One O’Clock Gun.
