Itinerary MLT St. Jacobs Day Tour
  • 7:45 am A warm welcome to one and all to the Maple Leaf Lounge at the Kingston Shrine Club 3260 Princess Street at Collins Bay Road. Come on inside and check in with our Maple Leaf Tour Director before we board our coach and begin our day.
  • Stops will be made in Napanee, Belleville & Brighton is pre-arranged. We will make a comfort stop sometime mid-morning on our way.
  • 12:30 pm Arrive in St. Jacobs at The Farmer’s Market. You will find aisle upon aisle of fresh produce, meats, cheese, baking, crafts, home decor, furniture, clothes, tools and local delicacies like summer sausage and pure maple syrup. Located just across from the Market is the Factory Outlet Mall with stores that offer brand names at terrific savings.
  • 2:30 pm We’ll depart the St. Jacob’s Market and stop at Picards Peanuts www.picardspeanuts.com a family owned business, the first family of peanut farmers.
  • 3:00 pm Depart for St. Jacob’s Village. In the Village you will find over 100 one-of-a-kind shops many housed in carefully restored 19th century buildings. St. Jacobs is a haven for contemporary and traditional Canadian crafts, many made right in village studios such as: Balcksmiths, Stained Glass, Broom Makers, Goldsmiths, Glass Blowers, Wheat Weavers, Painters and Quilter’s. Other interesting sites to visit are The Mennonite Story Visitors Centre, The Maple Syrup Museum and Quilt Gallery. (for those wishing to stay at the Market, we will return at 4:30 pm to pick you up)
  • 5:00 pm We’ll have a scrumptious dinner in the Village of St. Jacobs at Jacob’s Grill
  • 6:30 pm Begin our travel back home.
  • 10:30 pm Expected return time back in Kingston.
