Montreal Biodome, Botanical Gardens

MLT July 9, 2026 MLT 1 Day MLT Low

The Montreal Botanical Gardens: with its collection of 22,000 plant species and cultivars, 10 exhibition green houses, some thirty thematic gardens, and teams of researchers and activities staff, the Montréal Botanical Garden ranks as one of the world’s largest and most spectacular botanical gardens.

The Biodome: The word Biodôme comes from the Greek words bios, or life, and domos, house. An oasis in the heart of the city, the Montréal Biodôme recreates some of the most beautiful ecosystems of the Americas: the Tropical Forest, Laurentian Forest, St. Lawrence Marine Eco-system, and the Arctic and Antarctic.

The Montreal Insectarium: Natural history museum located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, featuring a large quantity of insects from all around the world. It is the largest insect museum in North America and among the largest insectariums worldwide. It was founded by Georges Brossard and opened on February 7, 1990.
