6:45 am Good Morning as you arrive at the Maple Leaf Lounge at the Kingston Shrine Club, (3260 Princess Street at Collins Bay Road). Come on in for a warm hello, check in with our Maple Leaf Tour Director and collect your luggage tags.
7:00 am With our new travelling friends, we’ll depart from Kingston picking up friends along the way. We will make a comfort stop on our way before jumping on the 407 Express Highway across Toronto to make our travel smooth sailing.
12:00 pm Ho, Ho, Hope you’re hungry as we arrive in Waterloo in time for an included lunch.
2:00 pm The Sounds of Christmas at the Waterloo Mennonite Brethren Church. A heartwarming Musical Celebration. A multi-performer musical journey through the many styles of Christmas Music from Traditional to Country to Gospel featuring Singing, Toe-tapping instrumentals & Various Styles of Dance!
5:00 pm Check into the Homewood Suites Waterloo-St. Jacobs (519) 514-0088
6:00 pm WOW! Enjoy a homemade Mennonite dinner at our hotel. This catered meal is sure to delight as our Mennonite host will speak about the culture around food. After dinner, relax and enjoy the evening at leisure. (L) (D)

9:00 am Waterloo Regional Museum – Whisking back in Time: Holiday flavours in Waterloo. Step back in time this holiday season to uncover the tasty traditions and cozy customs that shaped festive kitchens in the Waterloo Region. Join us for a warm and flavorful journey filled with stories, scents, and maybe a secret recipe or two, perfect for sparking holiday cheer! After the presentation, walk through Doon Heritage Village and discover a beautifully decorated village showcasing the holiday season from the early 1900s.
11:30 am Conestoga Mall in Waterloo, is the largest shopping centre in Waterloo! You’ll have time to do a little Christmas shopping as well as grab lunch.
2:00 pm “All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914. A Story about Peace on Earth. ” This holiday season, join us for a remarkable true story of Peace on Earth, told in the words and songs of the men who lived it. A gaggle of weary English soldiers hunker down in the trenches of The Western Front at Christmas in 1914. They slowly realize that all is calm, until they hear a solo voice with a Christmas carol drifting toward them. A German soldier steps into No Man’s Land singing “Stille Nacht,” and what follows is an extraordinary night of camaraderie, fuelled by stories, patriotic tunes, trench songs, and Christmas carols.
Crowned “One of the top live events for Christmas in North America” by BBC Music Magazine, All Is Calm will take you on a journey to parts of the heart rarely explored. Don’t miss this unforgettable celebration of our shared humanity.
4:30 pm Picard’s Peanuts is a must stop to finish our time in St. Jacobs.
5:00 pm Depart St. Jacobs Country and begin our travel home. To ensure a smooth trip home, we’ll be travelling the 407 express highway across Toronto .
6:00 pm We’ll stop for dinner on our way home at the Mandarin Buffet Restaurant before we head home with visions of sugar plums dancing in our heads!
9:30 pm Approximate arrival time back to Kingston.
