Sunday, June 14
Meet our travelling companions and depart from Kingston and travel to Toronto’s Pearson International Airport for our direct flight to Calgary, Alberta. We’ll transfer to our Calgary hotel, The Delta Calgary Downtown and enjoy a welcome dinner together. (D)
Day 2
Monday, June 15
Discover How the West was Once at Canada’s largest living history museum, Heritage Park Historical Village. This 127-acre attraction is home to the year-round Gasoline Alley Museum and is nestled on the banks of the Glenmore Reservoir with the picturesque backdrop of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Meet friendly townsfolk in full period costume as you stroll down the wooden boardwalks or pop into any number of working shops, businesses or homes.
The Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology is Canada’s only museum dedicated exclusively to the study of ancient life. In addition to featuring one of the world’s largest displays of dinosaurs, we offer a wide variety of creative, fun, and educational programs that bring the prehistoric past to life. Highlights include the Hoodoos rock formations as we drive through the Badlands! (B)
Day 3
Tuesday, June 16
We’ll have a group Breakfast at the Delta Hotel before we begin our day of sightseeing as we travel from Calgary to Banff. Board our private motorcoach for your transfer to Banff including a full day of sightseeing. Highlights include the Hoodoos rock formations, Surprise Corner and Tunnel Mountain Drive.
Banff Gondola – Your admission to Canadian national parks is included in your package. Your pass is only valid for the number of days that you have booked accommodation in a National Park through Rocky Mountaineer.
Climb Sulphur Mountain in a record-breaking eight minutes and get a bird’s-eye view of six mountain ranges. Sorry, did we say ‘climb’? We mean ‘ascend in style’ in your fully enclosed four-passenger gondola cabin! Included is our National Parks Pass for entry into this wonderful Canadian area!
Elk + Avenue Hotel, Experience exceptional comfort and warm hospitality at the Elk + Avenue Hotel, located in downtown Banff, in the heart of Banff National Park and the Canadian Rockies. Enjoy all the comforts of a modern hotel, including flat screen televisions, fitness facility, indoor whirlpool and dry cedar sauna. Tonight we’ll enjoy an included dinner in the Canadian Rockies. Day 4
Wednesday, June 17
Enjoy breakfast at Elk + Avenue before another day of exciting touring! Take in the incredible landscape of Jasper National Park from high up with this visit to the Glacier Skywalk. Glacier Skywalk Consisting of a 400 metre (1,640 feet) interpretive boardwalk and a glass-floored observation platform extending 30 metres (98 feet) out over the Sunwapta Valley, Glacier Skywalk takes spectacular scenery and a rare view of nature to unbelievable heights. The award-winning architecture of the Skywalk is a feat of contemporary design. Transfer from Columbia Icefield.
Ice Explorer Tour the Athabasca Glacier in a giant six-wheel drive Ice Explorer vehicle while your guide explains the history of this ancient glacier and points out interesting geological features. Think of it like a “monster-truck meets glacier” adventure where you learn new things! We’ll enjoy lunch this afternoon at the Columbia Icefield. Enjoy a buffet lunch at the Columbia Icefield. Day 5
Thursday, June 18
After an included breakfast today we’ll board our motor coach and transfer from our hotel to Banff station. Board the Rocky Mountaineer Gold Leaf train at just in time for breakfast on board! Today you will travel from Banff – Lake Louise – Kamloops. Travel from the heart of the Canadian Rockies to Lake Louise then onto Kamloops, in the interior of British Columbia. From the towering mountains of the Rockies to the desert landscape of British Columbia’s interior, the landscape transformation is spectacular. Highlights include Spiral Tunnels, Stoney Creek Bridge, and Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven.
As you journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Today’s highlights include Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, the climb over Yellowhead Pass, and the journey along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops. Breakfast & lunch will be served onboard. You will arrive in Kamloops between 4:45 PM and 6:45 PM. Spend the evening exploring the city of Kamloops or relaxing in your hotel. (B) (L)
Coach Transfer: Kamloops Station to Your Hotel (accommodation to be confirmed by Rocky Mountaineer) Upon arrival at the Kamloops train siding, you will be transferred by motorcoach to your overnight accommodation.
Day 6
Friday, June 19
Coach Transfer: Your Hotel to Kamloops Station. Early this morning, you will be transferred by motorcoach to the train siding from your hotel. (Your pick-up times will be provided with your final travel documents.) Again, breakfast will be on board.
Kamloops to Jasper – Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station to continue your journey east to Jasper in the Canadian Rockies. Travel alongside the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Caribou Mountains, climbing over the Continental Divide. Highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Pyramid Falls, and the crystal-clear Moose Lake. Breakfast, lunch, beverages, and snacks are included onboard. Upon arrival at the Rocky Mountaineer Jasper Train Station, you will be transferred by motorcoach to the Forest Park Hotel in Jasper. (B) (L)

Day 7
Saturday, June 20
Breakfast is included this morning before we begin our day. Board your private motorcoach for a half-day sightseeing tour of Jasper. Highlights include Pyramid and Patricia Lakes, and the Athabasca viewpoint.
Soar up Whistlers Mountain and take in Jasper National Park from new heights. The Jasper SkyTram transports you to an elevation of 2,263 metres (7,425 feet) in a matter of minutes. Once there, you’re free to explore boardwalks, hike to the summit, soak in stunning panoramic views and experience the mountaintop your way. The remainder of the day is free to explore more of Jasper National Park independently. (B)
Day 8
Sunday, June 21
After an included breakfast in the hotel, we’ll check out and travel to Edmonton. For more than a century, Fairmont Hotel Macdonald has effortlessly delivered timeless luxury in the heart of downtown Edmonton. Nestled upon the North Saskatchewan River Valley, the hotel’s charm and ever-evolving elegance has earned it the spotlight as one of the city’s most sought-after locations since 1915. Monday, June 22
After a lovely included breakfast at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, we’ll transfer to the Edmonton Airport for our direct flight to Toronto. Our coach will be waiting at Pearson International Airport to return us home after an unforgettable Rocky Mountaineer Experience! (B)
